-Wed-Today we did all our routine things and then we were on our way to Walmart. They are remodeling the Kalispell Walmart. So it is like a scavenger hunt trying to find the products you need. We were back at the RV by 11. We put away our groceries and had some lunch. Then we sat outside. Later we went and picked up some more rocks to put by the side of the steps that Steve built. For supper I fixed chicken, pineapple, and pepper in foil pouches on the grill along with corn on the cob and then berries and a fiber one brownie for dessert.

-Thu-We completed our routine things this morning. I monitored the dock and we kept the dogs outside. Steve worked on the gate where our perimeter rope is. We had some lunch and then our boss Tony was here and stayed about 45 minutes. Steve worked on the slide topper material. He is trying to get the wrinkles out of it. He also sprayed the weeds around the RV. For supper we had a hamburger with chips and some berries. We also noticed that the dock is way under water. We had not noticed in time to tell Tony when he was here. So I called him and he is going to try to swing by in the morning to pull it out before he drives to Thompson Falls.

-Fri-Oh my, we got up late, about 9:00. Tony arrived as we were trying to eat breakfast. He came to pull the dock out and we weren’t even dressed. So Steve hurried around and went to assist. I got dressed and fixed my hair. Then we walked and did the chores. We sat outside some this morning. Marc, the boat volunteer was here from 3 - 4 and we visited with him. I monitored the lot. The game warden was here from 5:30 to 8:30. For supper we had eggs, Canadian bacon and toast.
-Sat-Happy 4th of July! We were up about 7:45. We completed the morning routine . Then we monitored the parking lot from 11:30 to 2:30 pretty frequently. We had a little lunch. Tony, our boss was here about 30 minutes. It was busy most of the day, but nothing crazy! The Game Warden was here again in the evening. I made sloppy joes, and we had chips and berries also. The fireworks lasted from 11 to Midnight or longer. I had trouble getting to sleep. I am glad I am not in a war zone, because the fireworks almost sent me over the moon!

-Sun-I got up about 8 and Steve was up at 6. We had our breakfast and then got dressed. Then we walked the loop road. We did our chores and found a fireworks mess in the parking lot. Fireworks are not allowed at fishing access sites. So we were a little unhappy to find the remnants. It took a while to get the mess mostly cleaned up. Kelly (the seasonal worker) was here and we visited with her. I checked the parking lot. Kelly brought us a Huckleberry Bear Claw, which was yummy. About 6:30 three sheriffs drove in and they were looking for a girl in an orange bathing suit. They said someone called them and said a young girl was going around asking people if they knew where her mother was. Well none of us found anybody who had seen her, so I guess she found her mom. I let the boss know about it.
-Mon-Another routine morning. I sat outside with the dogs, while Steve worked on cleaning the carpet in the RV. Then I mopped the tile part of the floor. I also took a nap later. Steve worked on a window shade over the couch. I made hamburger hashbrown casserole and then we had berries with the other huckleberry bear claw.
-Tue-We were up about 8 and completed our chores. Then we gathered up the laundry and loaded it in the pickup. We were finished by 12:30. We stopped at Harvest Food for a few items. Then we returned to the RV. Kelly was here from 1 to 3. We watched TV and put away our clothes. Supper was leftovers.
-Wed-We were up at 7:45 and completed our usual tasks. Then we mowed and did weed eating down by the parking lot. It looks like a park. We finished that about 10 AM. We rested and drank water. After lunch we went to town to mail a check to the guy who mows our yard at home. We also hauled off the trash. For supper I fixed chicken, rice, mixed veggies and berries for dessert.

-Thu-We were up at 8:00 and got around and completed our chores. We left at 10:30 and headed to Kalispell. We stopped at Tractor Supply but could not find any overalls for Steve that were the correct size. Then we went to Walmart. It is still a big mess. It is very hard to find stuff. They have moved everything around in the store. Also many shelves are empty. Anyway we got what we could and headed home. We put away our groceries and rested and relaxed. We were tired. Supper was turkey kielbasa, potatoes, salad and berries.
-Fri-We got up and around pretty good this morning. I talked to Marsha, In addition to our regular chores we did weed eating on the roadside outside the gate. After lunch I paid some bills. We did a little more weed eating around the RV and then rested. I did have to run some kids off the dock about 3 -4 times. For supper we had grilled chicken, corn on the cob, salad and berries. It was 88 degrees at 6:15. Summer has arrived!
-Sat-We completed our morning routine. Then I monitored the parking lot. We got around and left to go to the airport about 4 PM. We drove the pickup through the carwash ($16). then we went to the airport to pick up Kristi & John. They arrived on time and we went to eat at Casa Mexico. The food was good and so was the service. We got back to the RV and got them situated and relaxed.

-Mon-We were up about 8 this morning. We completed our routine tasks. Then we went to Lone Pine State Park. Kristi drove there. We left about 10:30. It takes about 30 minutes to get there. We toured their visitor center and hiked to the viewpoints. Steve & I were tired after going uphill! I drove on the return trip and showed them Somers State Park and Sportsmen's Fishing Access site. We got back to the RV about 1:30 and Kelly was here. We watched TV and then went to town for supper at Rosa’s Pizza.

The dogs went with us on this excursion, because it took most of the day. We stopped at Woody’s for ice and a few more snacks. We arrived at Glacier and waited at the entrance kiosk about 10 minutes. Then we drove the Going to The Sun Road. Steve did all the driving today. We were not able to get a parking place at Logan’s Pass on our way up. We did get to stop at the boardwalk for Kristi and John to see the mountain goats. Then we kept driving east. We stopped at Rising Sun picnic area and had a snack and a little walk. Then we drove west on the Going to the Sun Road. It started raining and was very misty on our way back. We got back to the RV about 5 or 6. We were all tired. We went to the A bar for supper.
