June 16-30, 2026 Lots of Stuff Going on!

16-Tue-We were up at 8:30 and had our breakfast.  We got dressed and took a shorter walk. Sydney (a maintenance worker) came by to change the doorknob on the shed. She put in a doorknob that locks. Then Kelly was here from 11:30 until about 2:00. After everyone left Steve and I went to town to the drugstore and the grocery store. When we came back we watched some TV. I made chili for supper.

17-Wed-Steve got up at 6:00 AM and I got up at 8:30. We had breakfast. I did not sleep well last night. Steve checked the bathroom and found the that the door was locked. He was able to get the door unlocked and we did our chores. Next we did weed eating below our RV site. The lake is very high and there is no rocky shoreline for them to sit out or lay out. We also did some mowing and weed eating in the parking lot. Then it was time for rest and relaxation. I made chili nachos for supper and we ate berries for dessert.

18-Thu-We were up at 8:30. After having breakfast and getting dressed, we made the bed. Then we walked to the mailboxes. Next we did our chores. We sat outside until 11:30. Then we watched TV. We decided to drive up to Glacier National park about 3:30. We took the dogs and walked around Fish creek campground. Then we returned to the RV. For supper we ate grilled chicken, salad, green beans and berries.

Our new pickup hit 1,000 miles while we were at Glacier NP

19-Fri-We were up at 7:45. Then we did all the usual things. We sat outside til 11 AM. We gathered up the trash and hauled it off on our way to town. We went to town to get haircuts. We also stopped at the grocery store. When we got home we putzed and watched TV. We had eggs and Canadian bacon for supper. Our dessert was a Fiber One Brownie and Berries with cool whip!

20-Sat-Steve got up early and I got up at 8:30. We completed our morning tasks including a walk and doing our chores. We did weed eating by the sign at the entrance and down by the rocks in the parking lot. I helped Steve cut the 4X4 posts for the steps. I sat outside while Steve worked on his steps. I checked the parking lot several times. We were very busy today.

Then we dealt with some teens who upset a lady. The lady said they were taking pictures of her and her family in their swimsuits. I can’t believe an adult had to have help to deal with teens. I was at my most diplomatic. Even Steve said I did a good job. For supper I made sloppy joes and we had chips with them.

21-Sun-We were up at 7:45. We did all the same things this morning. I sat outside with the dogs while Steve worked on his steps. We went inside for lunch. Kelly was here from 1 to 3. Then we putzed. I didn’t write down what we had for supper, but I am sure we ate something!

22-Mon-We got up and had breakfast. It rained about an hour. Then we got dressed and walked and completed our chores. Steve worked on the steps. We gathered big rocks for the steps. Then we took a break for lunch. Kelly was here from 1-3. We putzed and watched TV. Supper was turkey kielbasa, home fries, mixed vegetables and berries.

23-Tue-We were up about 7:30. We did all the things needed to complete our morning routine. Then we went to Kalispell. We bought a new Oxygenics shower head at Bish RV. We bought some items Steve needed at Ace Hardware. Then we got gas at the new Costco. We got our supplies at Walmart and got home about 1:00 Then we had lunch! We sat outside for awhile. Kelly was here from 3:00 til 3:45. When we went back in the RV I took a short nap. I made pork chops, corn on the cob, salad and berries for our supper.

Sundown, 10:30 PM Mountain  time

24-Wed-We got up and got around. Then we walked the loop road. Next we put up the signs that say No Fireworks. After completing the chores we loaded the trash and laundry. We dropped off the trash and then did our laundry. We also went to the post office and Harvest Foods. We got back to the RV by noon. Tony came by about 2:00. For supper we had hamburger patties, home fries, salad and berries. 

25-Thu-We got up about 8:30. We had breakfast and got dressed. Then we walked. The guy came out to pump out the pit toilet. We then re-checked the bathroom to make sure it did not need cleaned again. There was a guy here to talk about a launch place across the lake. It was confusing and we did not know how to advise him. I paid some bills and talked to AT & T about a credit they owed me. I helped Steve work on the steps til 2:45. It rained later and we started re-watching Longmire. Supper was turkey bacon, eggs and berries.

26-Fri-We were up by 8:45. It was 60°. The mornings here are lovely. We did all our chores and walked. Marsha called at 9:30, Tony, her husband is in the hospital.. Come to find out , he has an ulcer and they kept him overnight due to his heart history. We picked up the mail and sent a birthday card to John. We came home and rested. It rained most of the day. The electricity went off from 3 PM to 4:45. I made chicken vegetable soup and we also had berries.

27-Sat-After we did all the things we went to town. It was raining this morning. We went to Sliters (hardware store), post office and the grocery store. We got home and had lunch and put the dogs out for awhile. We had to sanitize our fresh water tank. We did not do that this spring and it needed done. Steve had to level the RV again and also worked on the steps. We ate leftover chicken soup for supper.

28-Sun-Steve got up at 5:30. I did not get up til 8:00. We had breakfast and made the bed. There we took a walk and did our chores. We talked to Kristi this morning. Kelly was here from 10:30 to 12:30. Then we had lunch. I made chili for supper.

29-Mon-We were up at 8:00. It was raining! We got dressed and had breakfast. The rain stopped about 10:30. We checked the bathroom and picked up the trash in the parking lot. Then we walked the loop road. We were back inside about 11:45 and had lunch. We putzed around and it rained some more. Supper was leftovers. 

30-Tue-We were up at 8:00 for breakfast. I went back to bed from 9-10. Then I checked on the dock. Someone was unloading a dock system but they said they had a permit, so that was not a problem. We walked and did our chores. We finished a few minutes before noon. Tony called to check in . We did weed eating and mowing. We also picked up some rocks to make the bases for the steps. Then we will top them with gravel. We had eggs, turkey bacon, home fries and berries for supper.
