February 2, 2014 - Groundhog Day, Superbowl

I have not posted a blog in such a long time - I almost forgot how to do it! I did not even do an update for our little trip last fall when we went to what used to be Fountainhead - at Lake Eufaula State Park. We had fun and the weather was great in October. We survived Thanksgiving and Christmas with our big dog Rufus being further disabled. We finally had to make the decision to let him go over the Rainbow Bridge on January 10, 2014. We kept him going as long as possible, even doing doggie diapers and carrying him around...it was so sad... but now he is free and able to walk again I hope. We made a road trip to Amarillo TX without the RV on January 16, 17,18, and 19, 2014 - to see Steve's sister and take her out for her birthday. We were both a little under the weather-so we didn't get to do as much as we would have liked. Hopefully this spring we will be taking a few more short RV trips after the weather improves. I am only going to be working 3 days a week again - so we are looking forward to traveling a little more. Well today is the Superbowl!! We are rooting for Denver!! Go Broncos! That is it for today. Hopefully I can get back into writing this blog again.
