We winterized the RV before we left the state park. That took awhile since we had not done this one before. This RV (Trey) has a filter and a bypass - but we had to figure out some things and then it went pretty fast. We drove north on I-35 and got home about 2:30 or 3:00 PM. We put the RV up and unloaded what we needed.

Well we still got a slow start. It seems 11:30 is our new departure time, even though we had very little to do to get rolling. Just slow I guess, or we got up too late. Anyway we rolled down the road pretty good once we got rolling. We drove through that pretty countryside again and got gas and a snack for a late lunch--about 4:30 we got to lake Murray State Park and decided to stop over for the night. We walked the dogs but not much because the north wind was COLD! Glad we had plenty of propane on board. We watch a movie - "Departed" and went to bed about midnight.

February 17 & 18, 2015 (Tuesday & Wednesday)

Tuesday: We went to the parts store and got what we needed for the leaky toilet, and Oxygenics shower head and a few other things. Steve installed these and he was a "Happy Man" doing his "Putzing" work. Wednesday: We got a propane delivery early this morning Woo Hoo! - never ran out! Next up - Laundry than back to the RV for lunch. We talked to a lady at the laundry room who did not know when they arrived at the park or when they were leaving. She also didn't know where they would be going next. But she said she liked this park because of all the activities she participated in. This was a little worrisome for us - hope we can avoid that scenario. Then we got the awning unrolled so it could dry. We walked the dogs several times and Steve also worked on the couch - the gears were noisy. Nap time--Oh Yeah! We had a difficult time getting the awning out and in--but finally had success. We went to town for Pizza then got some stuff at Walmart and went back home. We watched a movie and went to sleep.

Up and attem! We walked the dogs and then a downpour came. We went back inside. I typed some blog entries and tried to check the bank. Steve found the leak by the toilet and is trying to fix it. Well it rained all day--we watched a movie in Spanish--it was cute. Even though we don't speak Spanish, we still got the jist of the movie. Next we watched Knight and Day (another movie). We had Steak and Baked Potatoes for supper. We walked the dogs and took out the trash. We started looking at plans for the spring trip. It has been cold and dreary! We watched more movies.

We did the morning routine. Nothing new there. We bravely returned to Walmart for things we forgot or couldn't find the day before. We whizzed through that place and also the Dollar Tree. My aches and pains were an annoyance and I laid down to read and guess what, a nap overtook me. We had rain and gloomy weather so that made sleeping good. Soup and snacks for supper- then movies. We watched Lone Survivor and Lions for lambs. Bedtime--it rained off and on all night.
