On Monday, May 2nd - the world of work changed significantly - we changed to a different electronic charting program - EPIC. And the change did not occur without EPIC bunches of trouble - but by Thursday - we had the hang of it pretty good. We had most of the bugs out and were moving along pretty good.
On May 7th, Saturday - we drove to Bartlesville and watched Landon and Parker perform with the Stage Art Dance Troupe. We had supper at Paige's house and then went back home.
At least once day a week I have been working on my Nutrition website. This has also been a complicated process.
On May 10, Tuesday we were again without internet, home phone and cell from from 8PM to??? Thanks again AT & T. This was the second time in a few weeks this has happened. They finally agreed to send out a technician and also gave me a $20.00 credit on my mobil phone bill. The tech brought a new modem and also decided we needed a new phone line. He seemed to think our problem was related to the rain and a bare wire...Not sure why the cell phone had problems.
I had two routine doctor appointments this month - no problems.
Then I had routine work and household duties through out the week.
On May 20, 2016 - We again drove to Bartlesville to watch Landon (my great nephew) graduate from High School. And again, there was a party at my niece's house with lots of food. A great time was had by all. Congratulations to Landon--he will be embarking on a new adventure next fall.
Tuesday, May 24, 2016 we had routine household chores: Pay bills, Order from Amazon, Mowed the front lawn, and went to Walmart for groceries.
Friday - we did more of the same - Filed papers, Worked on my Website, Ordered stuff from amazon, short walk, changed sheets on the bed and paid some bills - this is my life when I am not working at my regular part-time job.
On Saturday, May 28, 2016 -Kristi and the kids drove up- we had grilled hamburgers, hot dogs and a nice little campfire.
On Sunday the 29th - we drove to Haskew cemetery and put flowers on the graves of my parents and grandparents. We also drove to Woodward and put flowers on Nancy's 2nd husband's grave and JC & Pam decorated some of their family graves. Later we all went to a late lunch at Big Dan's in Woodward. Aunt Mary and Karen joined us. Then we drove home. Again we had a nice backyard campfire and a released visit.
On Monday - Memorial Day May 30th - I helped Steve cut a few weeds behind our fence, we ate the Pizza Hut Lunch buffet (not again-it was not great) and then took it easy in the afternoon. For supper I grilled chicken and made potatoes in food and we also had salad. For our dessert - we had strawberry angel food cake, fresh strawberries and cool whip! YUM!
I ended up the month today with work. Anyway a busy month that just flew by!
