Thursday (16th) We got up and around in pretty good time today. After we got the bed made and ourselves dressed, we left for Tulsa. We headed out about 10:30 and arrived there at 11:45. Our plan was to meet up with my nephew, Anthony who was here to attend the NCAA Wrestling Tournament. So when we got to the BOK center, it was surrounded by police cars. We found a parking lot to pull into, and a lady attendant came to talk to us. She said this was a parking lot for the COX business center. She also told us that the big police presence was because our governor was supposed to be there today and Trump tomorrow (neither one of those impressed me). So I explained that we were trying to meet up with my nephew and she said OK, no problem. We could park by her if we needed to. Then Anthony texted and said for us to go ahead and go to lunch because if he left the tournament, he could not return until the next session. So Steve and I went to Baxter's Interurban Grill. It looked pretty swanky, but everyone was dressed casual when we went inside. It was about 1 block south of the BOK center. Lunch was good and the prices were OK. When we finished eating, one of the places we drove to was The Gathering Place at 2650 S. John Williams Way. It its by the Riverwalk Trail in Tulsa. It is kind of like a big playground. I thought we could hang out there, but it started raining. We were able to pick Anthony up as he was leaving the BOK Center. Then we drove around a little bit and then found a place to hang out until he was ready to re-join his buddies for the evening session. We hung out at Tacos X Mezcal. It was at 39 E. 18th in Tulsa, also close to downtown. After a nice visit, we took him to the Riverwind Casino to join up with his buddies. He lives in New Jersey and I don't get to see him very often, so it was fun to meet up. It did rain on us after our dessert meet-up but that was OK. We got home about 4:30 or 5:00 PM.

Friday (17th) The morning was routine as usual. It was 32• when we got up this morning, brrrr. We left at 3:30 PM today to go to Yukon. We went to Kristi and John's place and ordered Hideaway Pizza! The kids picked it up and after we ate we played games. We got back home about 10:30. It was a lot of fun, but we were tired. Saturday (18th) So today we sat around awhile after breakfast and just relaxed. We did some errands around town and worked on the computer some. I made us some nice Chicken Vegetable soup for supper. We tried on our dress clothes for the wedding and we can wear what we have. Yea, No Shopping! Sunday (19th) Today we did all the morning routine things. Then Austyn came up and shampooed the carpet. She wanted to earn some extra money and we were glad she did the work.
Monday (20th)- We were off to Walmart this morning and then back home for lunch and to put away the stuff. After lunch we worked on the computer music again. It still doesn't work like Steve wants it to work. Finally I just left him to it. Tuesday (21st) - Today was spent doing laundry and later I had a hair appointment. We ate supper at La Macarena with Linda, Hazel and Stetson. Wednesday (22nd) -A day at home spent on the computer doing bills, and working on pictures. I also started a picture book on Shutterfly. I broke a bit of my tooth on my upper plate, so I made an appointment to get a replacement. It's so fun to get old and need all these appointments. Thursday (23rd) - We went to Stillwater for my Denture Clinic appointment. They needed me to come back after two hours, so we went out to Boomer Lake and took a short stroll and listened to a podcast to pass the time. Then we checked prices for the rear tires on the motor home (the price takes my breath away!) and I picked up a couple of items from Walmart. When we got home we relaxed and I took a short nap. Friday (24th)- It was drizzly and cloudy today so we did the routine things as needed around the house. Saturday (25th) - Today's highlight was cooking some burgers and potatoes outside on the grill. We also watched KState get beat in the Elite Eight Basketball tournament. Sunday (26th) I got up late today. In the afternoon we went to OKC and bought a lawnmower at Lowe's. Then Kristi, John, Austyn, Logan, and Cielo, met us at Texas Roadhouse for supper. YUM! The food and company were great!

Monday (27th) Today was a big day for us. After we finished our morning routines the Foundation Repair guys arrived about 11:30. We locked our dogs up so they wouldn't interfere with the work. They got busy and dug 4 deep holes on the north side of the garage to install the piers. I am so glad that the hard work was done by them. I am sure I couldn't dig a big, deep hole! They also fixed the bad spot on the driveway. That entailed digging out a couple of big roots. Very hard work. The were here til about 6:30 PM and only took a short break for a late lunch. I am glad that is not my job. Tuesday (28th)-The guys from Power Lift (foundation repair) were here about 9:30 to check on the driveway and get paid. Then we had lunch and drove to Stillwater to pick up my new upper plate. After that was completed we went to Walmart Market for groceries and picked up medications at the other Walmart. Our supper was at La Macarena. Wednesday (28th) Steve felt really bad today. So I put the TENS unit on him first thing this morning. I was on the phone making appointments for me, the dogs and Steve's hip. I also paid the insurance bills for the house and RV. Man, these bills and repairs sure do add up! Thursday (30th) Steve still didn't feel great. So he just putzed around. I am still doing my home PT 4-5 times per week. In the afternoon Steve & I got the new lawn mower unloaded and put together. I mowed the front yard, then we rested. Friday (31st) - Our schedule for laundry got messed up somehow, so today we did laundry. Later we went to Homeland and putzed around. It wasn't too exciting today, and that was OK!
