16-Mon-We got up and found out it was very foggy outside. We completed breakfast and a walk then we started putting away stuff on the inside. Next we dumped the tanks and finished outside. We had to run to Napa for hydraulic lifts for the pickup topper. They did not have any. So we left Echo Lake about noon. We stopped at Huckleberry Patch and did some shopping. Then we drove around the bottom of Glacier National Park on Hiway 2. We decided to drive Highway 2 and add Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan to our map. We stopped at Shelby RV Park and Resort at Shelby MT. We got gas in the RV before we parked it. And do not be fooled by the name Shelby RV Park and Resort. This was a parking lot on a hill attached to a motel/casino. Our supper was Chili.

The right rear jack came down and Steve had to get out and use a bar to get it stowed away. We stopped at Glasgow, MT for gas . We arrived at Fort Peck and stayed overnight at Downstream campground. It was a Corps of Engineer park, so we had electricity. There were lot of bugs and it was windy. The TV went in and out. Tonight was nachos.

This drive on Hiway 2 is pretty nice, not much traffic! We drove on to Minot, ND. We stay at Valley View RV Park. It was basically a parking lot attached to an RV Dealership. I spent 45 minutes with Dish trying to get the local channels. We did not have any luck.

19-Thu-We got up about 9 this morning. After a discussion, we decided to stay over another night. We walked the dogs and then went to look for some hydraulic lifts for the pickup topper. Then a stop at Walmart was in order. After lunch we went to a Scandinavian Park in town and enjoyed walking around it. It had lots of neat buildings to look at. Then we drove around the air force base and checked it out. It was windy and cloudy part of the day. As the day wore on, the sun came out so it was nice outside.

We went to a park in town and saw Paul Bunyan and Baby Blue Ox. Then we drove over to Lake Bemidji State Park. We got back to the RV in time to watch the Oklahoma State football game. My team got beat. Later we went out to Daves for pizza. It was pretty good but not as good as Rosas Pizza at Bigfork.
