-Wed-We woke up about 7 AM. After our breakfast we got dressed and made the bed. Then we walked with the dogs to the Yellowstone River. When we finished the walk Steve washed the front windows on the RV. Next we put in the slides and stowed the jacks and unhooked the utilities. We left Billings Montana about 10:30 AM. Drove I-90 to I-25. We made a stop at Sheridan, WY at Walmart for more groceries and supplies. Then we went on to Kaycee, WY. We filled the RV with gas and decided to stop at a Passport America Park. It was only $25/night. We pulled in and started hooking up the utilities and found that the hydrant had a bad water leak. So we disconnected and moved one site over. The name of the park was Powder River Campground and Cabins. The people who owned it also had a quilt shop and we looked it over the next morning. After we got set up we rested and relaxed. I think the Walmart stop wore us out. We had eggs, Canadian bacon, bagels and berries for our supper.

-Thu-We got up about 9:00 this morning. I guess we were tired. We had breakfast, dressed and then got the dogs out. We decided to stay and rest a day. So we putzed around most of the day and watched some TV. I took a nap and both of us had showers. We dumped our black and gray tanks so we could take off quickly in the morning. For supper I cooked hamburgers and we added cheese for a cheeseburger.

-Fri-We got up about 7:30 AM. After breakfast we dressed and made the bed. Then we walked the dogs and got ready to leave. Steve checked the oil and unhooked the utilities. We left Kaycee and headed south. We stopped at Wellington, CO about 1;30 PM. We were a little tired. So we set up the RV and took it easy a while. We stayed at KOA (Fort Collins North/Wellington KOA Journey) and used their laundromat to catch up on the washing. For supper I fixed grilled chicken, rice, mixed vegetables and berries.

-Sat-We were up and around about 7:15 this morning. We completed our morning routine and got ready to leave. We got gas at a small Sinclair station in Wellington, CO. Then we made it through Denver. It is always a blessing to get through Denver without having a wreck. And it takes about two hours to get to the other side. We joined I-70 and turned south at Limon, CO. There we joined US 287 and drove to Lamar, CO. We stayed at the south end of Lamar, CO on our way north and so we drove there after we got gas. The wind was brutal today! It blew our windshield cover out of place on the pickup. I had not called the RV park and when we pulled in they did not have any open sites for the night. So we went back to the north end of town and stayed at Lamar Sportsman’s RV Park and Horse Motel. Supper was a turkey burger on a bun and chips.

-Sun-We were up at 7:30 or 8:00. We had our breakfast and made the bed. I fixed my hair and then we walked the dogs. We got everything ready to leave. We headed to Amarillo. It got hot later in the day and the generator would not stay running. So when we got to Amarillo about 4:00 we were again rather pooped. Probably from the heat. It was our 23rd anniversary and we went out to eat at Abuelos Mexican Restaurant. It was good. Then we returned to the RV and watched football!

-Mon-We got up and around about 8 ish. After breakfast we walked the dogs and putzed around. Then we called Irene (Steve’s sister) and made arrangements about picking her up. We both took our showers and got dressed. Then we drove Irene to her allergy doctor and Lowe’s. We stopped at Wendy’s for a frosty. That was good. Next we checked on the dogs and went to eat an early supper at Texas Roadhouse. We returned to Irene's and visited for awhile. Then we returned to the RV and watched football.
-Tue-We got up at 8:30 After breakfast and completing our morning routine we got the RV ready to go. We got gas and left Amarillo about 10. We stopped at Love’s after we crossed into Oklahoma. Steve saw that the driver’s side rear light cover was hanging loose. Steve got out some of his tools and re-attached it. While he did that I got the dogs out for a little walk. We arrived home about 4 PM and put the RV in the carport. It was a relief to arrive home safely, especially since we had that trouble in Montana with the RV. We unloaded a few essentials. Later we aired up the tires on the car and met Linda at La Macarena for supper. Then we went home and relaxed!
