Laundry & Fireworks! Wednesday, June 6, 2018

Today started out pretty normal, with us doing our usual walks and chores. In addition I walked the beach north of the RV and picked up trash. About noon,  a Fish, Wildlife, and Parks employee was here picking up trash and weed-eating. I talked to him and told him Tony was here yesterday and said everything here looked good. He said he checked the car counter (which we had done on June 1).

Anyway we were a little miffed - we don't want them to think we aren't doing our job  But he also did some weed eating around the big rocks which would be difficult for us to do.  He said nobody told him that we had already done these things. He said Seth sent him.  Seth is the maintenance guy. Just goes to show that miscommunication happens everywhere! Oh Well. We did our laundry today and finished in a little over 2 hours. Then we came back to the RV and took a nap. Before I dozed off, Tony called and said he would not be available this week-end, so I explained about the guy coming out and he said Seth had been off and didn't know what had been done.  So, all is good! Anyway we are not fired from our volunteer job. Tony said we were doing fine. Also we had a display of fireworks tonight about 10:45 from across the lake. I took these pictures out the front windshield of the RV.
