8/15/12 Wednesday And So It Begins (The trip home)

When we got up this morning it was pretty cool--maybe about 45 degrees and it had been raining quite a bit. Our chairs were soaked, so they went in the back of the pick-up. We did load some of the wet wood in the RV bin and hope it dries out on the trip home. Before we left we drove up to the forest office and I bought a sweatshirt with Lewis & Clark National Forest - Neihart Field Office embroidered on it. Next, we drove the RV and pick-up to King's Hill. It was a very cool, misty, magical morning. We got to I-90 and drove to Cabela's in Billings, MT, where we stayed overnight in their parking lot. We went in and looked around but didn't buy hardly anything.
