8/16/12 Thursday Heading South

Before we left Cabela's we used their free dump station. Then we were on the road. It was nice and cool this morning. We stopped at the Battle of the Little Bighorn and took a tour. A Crow native (lady) gave us the tour and tried to explain the battle - but it was confusing. I read the brochure and it was confusing. I guess all battles and wars are confusing. We had stopped one other trip, but couldn't find a place to park that time. This is also a national cemetery. The Crow Indian fair was going on but we didn't go back for it , since we are trying to head home. We got to Buffalo , WY and stayed at Deer Park campground about 3/4t to 1 mile east of I-25. This is a cute town and we wanted to explore the forest west of here so we decided to stay an extra night.
