September 25 & 26th Wednesday and Thursday Heading South and East

Wednesday -
We left Laramie, WY about 10:30 after getting everything unhooked (utilities) and hooked up (the pickup). We made it through Denver with no major problems- one slow down and one driver who wouldn't let us in. We were moving pretty good and stopped Limon, CO to walk the dogs, get a bite
to eat and gas up the RV. By then Steve was tired and so we got a spot at the KOA in Limon and spent the night. We looked at another RV Park - but it looked too crowded and close (Trailing Edge RV Park). The review was great - but it didn't tickle our fancy. So RV Park reviews can be helpful, but everybody doesn't like the same thing.  As it was, we got assigned a spot right by a tree that blocked our satellite dish, and we were too tired to see about moving. Maybe not tired, but road weary. So we watched Longmire and went to bed later.

Thursday -
We were up by 8:00 AM and on the road by 9:30 AM. Steve drove really good. We had two 10 mile road construction areas. About 1:30 or 2:00 we stopped for a snack and walked the dogs. Then we were back on the road. Tonight's stop was at Russell, KS.  We stayed at Triple J Campground again. I talked to Marsha this afternoon and Pam this evening. We got set up and walked the dogs. Tonight our entertainment was watching the Packers and Eagles play football.
