We took it relatively easy getting around today. I had a tummy ache and thought it would get better so we loaded up the dogs and drove to Durango, CO. It is about 40 miles east of here--the scenery got a lot more to our liking after about 20 miles. We drove around Durango and walked the trail by the Animas River. They have a wonderful paved trail along this river that runs through town. There are lots of bike riders, skate boarders and walkers taking advantage of this great trail by the river. Also kayakers and rafters were coming down the river. Zoey would not quit barking at every person and dog -- so we finally headed back to the pick-up and toured some of the old town. There are really cute houses here also. We will return here because it is very pretty!

We went back to the RV for rest and recuperation. I still had a stomach ache...darn. When we woke up we did our laundry then went to Walmart for some groceries. By then we were ready to take showers and go to bed. Another full day -- sightseeing and chores.
