Today we finalized our packing and got the RV ready to travel. We packed everything away and hooked the pickup on for towing. Before we left I talked to Tony our manager and he said we could just lock everything up and he told where to leave the key so they could pick it up. We told I'm how much we enjoyed our stay at Echo Lake and hope to return. Leaving this beautiful place is bittersweet.

We headed out on the highway. We headed south down the west side of Flathead Lake on our way to St. Regis. I figured out later that we were on the St. Regis Paradise Scenic Byway!

We drove through Niarada, Hot Springs, and Plains Montana. At Plains we saw the Clark Fork River It was so pretty.
Next up was Paradise Montana followed by Quinn's Hot Springs Resort. Then we were on a very scenic drive until we arrived at St. Regis. We stayed at the Campground St. Regis. It was a good Sam park and everything seemed pretty good. We did get a reverse polarity reading on our EMS surge protector, but it didn't seem to mess anything up. We were unable to get satellite TV due to mountains and big trees! The campground itself was decorated with carved bears and had beautiful flowers.
On Tuesday - the 11th we met with a real estate lady and found some properties to look at. We went back and got the dogs and spent most of the day driving around looking at available properties. Most of the places do not have water, electric and sewer. Many people live off grid at their cabin sites. So they use solar, put in well and lots of them have outhouses. We made a short stop at the grocery store and went back to the RV for supper.
