Monday, May 18, 2015 Cleaning and Package

We set the alarm this morning since we had to be up for a "work party" in the museum.  Well let me tell you folks, it was a lot more work than party!  We helped 2 other couples and the vol. coor sweep, dust, remove bugs, and straighten!  We did that til about 11:30 then had a break for lunch.  We also had to walk our dogs and try to find our mail package.  

We even drove to Athol to check at the post office for our mail - but it wasn't there.  We returned to the park and checked the outside mailbox.  Lo and behold our package and all of the park's Saturday mail was there!  Nobody had gotten the mail on Saturday.  I took the rest of the mail into the visitor center and the worker in there checked the other mailboxes. 

OK, so we checked back in at 1:30 with Errin (vol.coor/boss) and she said we were done for the day!  Whoopee, Nap Time!  That was our next move - Nap.  We rested and then got up later and walked the dogs.  We did drive around the park some more and saw 4 or 5 deer.  We knew they were here, we had seen the signs.  It was fun to see them in person! 

We are trying to get the GPS to work better and Steve almost lost it when he was trying to use it!  He got mad at it and was ready to fling it out the window until I reminded him how much it cost.  It will take us to the Visitor Center and the shop but will not return to the RV correctly---It wants to take us to the divided highway right next to the museum.  Anyway  -- it may have a short life!
