It was cool and overcast for part of the drive. We went through Cedar Breaks Monument area and saw some really neat mountain rocks.
We toured the Brian Head Ski Resort and made the summit.
At the summit we let the dogs out and Zoey check some of the down timber there to see if it was organic. She decided it was.
Near Panguitch, UT was Red Canyon was Red Canyon and it had some very nice rock formations.
Then we entered Bryce Canyon National Park. We checked out the visitor center and got a couple of souvenirs.
Then we started our drive. The first stop was Sunrise/Sunset Point.
The rock formations here are amazing. You can hike to the bottom if you are prepared and don't have dogs.
We took turns sitting with the dogs while one of us took pictures. The pictures do not begin to do the scenery justice. The magnitude of these formations is amazing.
There are many tourists that speak other languages. I saw a beautiful blue bird on a picnic table.
We stopped at almost every pullout, we might have missed a few, but not many. If you are ever in Utah, seeing Bryce Canyon should be high on your agenda! We oohed and aahhed at every viewpoint.
We returned by a different route. We drove through Hatch, UT and Duck Creek Village. Most of this was in the Dixie National Forest. We saw deer!
And more big Red Rock Mountains as we got close to Cedar City.
We didn't get back to the RV until about 8:30 or 9:00 PM. Needless to say, we were pooped!
