Well every now and then Laundry day comes back around. When you notice that the drawer holding your underwear is pretty much empty, Guess What? Laundrymat here I come. Steve and I went to Ralph's at Bayview to tend to the Laundry chore. It didn't take long - about 2 hours total. Steve took some nice pictures of the firefighting Helicopter with the bucket. I started trying to decide our route to return home. We have decided to skip Washington again this trip. We will have to dedicate one whole trip to Washington and Oregon I guess. When we leave, we will have about three weeks to goof off and one week to get back to Oklahoma.
We checked out the fire camp when we got back. Then we walked after supper.
Thursday -
Today we were going to head out sightseeing to Kellogg and Wallace, ID. We got sidetracked though because the fan on the air conditioner (pick-up) would only blow one speed-low. This could present problems in the future, when the heat returns. First we stopped at O'Reilly's, they did not have the part, and said to go to the GMC dealer. We got to the GMC dealer and they said it could be either one or two different things: A resistor ($18) or a whole component for the AC console ($180), which would have to be ordered. We got the resistor part and Steve put it in, that did not fix the problem. So, we returned to the dealer and ordered the expensive part. It should arrive tomorrow. We decided to call it a day and returned to the RV.
Tonight we walked the upper Shoreline trail and saw 5 deer. They were not too excited by us, but we were excited by them. We saw a total of 7 or 8 deer for the night.
