We got the call from the GMC Dealer that the part we needed had arrived. So off we went to pick it up and do some other things. We left the dogs at home so we could shop a little without worrying about them getting too hot.
We first went and picked up the part and Steve installed it at the dealership to make sure it solved our problem. It worked and he did a fine job installing it. Next we went to BlackSheep Sporting good store, then Tractor Supply (overalls) and then we went to the Toni & Guy Hair Academy and Steve got the longest (time) haircut in history. After that we got supplies and Walmart and then went home.
The dogs were so excited to see us. Zoey jumped out of the RV and went crazy when she saw us.
We got everything put away and tended to our supper.
We decided to walke the upper Shoreline Trail again starting from the parking lot of Beaver Bay.
It was a very nice walk --did not spot any deer tonight.
We have noticed that it its starting to get dark about 8:30 or a little earlier. Believe me, you do not want to be deep in the trees when it gets dark. It is spooky and you might not find your way back to the car! LOL
Saturday -
Well we took it easy in the morning, I think I even dozed off again on the couch. After lunch Steve decided to try to re-string the long blind over the couch. This took most of the afternoon and part of the evening. It required more than one try and he was not exactly pleased with the final results. In fact he thinks he will have to do it over. I tried to help, but there wasn't much that I contributed.
We walked close to the Brig tonight, nothing major.
