Monday, April 20, 2015 Laundry Day

OK, just a reminder, laundry does not do itself when you are traveling!  Darn!  We got up early and called the VA for Steve's medicine.  Next up: Laundry.  First we had to go to the Dollar Store for more laundry soap.  Then we loaded the clothes and quarters and started the laundry.  Steve had to teach some of the washing machines how to operate, by banging on the part where the quarters are inserted. 

Not sure what we happened but the GPS (new, only 10 days old) cord got broken. The part that plugs in to the GPS broke off.  So I tried calling the manufacturer, but was on hold for 30 minutes with no human contact.  So aggravating.  Next I called the Good Sam Concierge (since we bought it at Camping World) and her best solution was to drive to Camping World in Flagstaff to exchange it. 

Well that is what we did after the laundry was finished.

The trip was about 90 miles one way.  We got is exchanged without me threatening anyone even though their computer was "down".  Of course we also picked up more stuff!  We got new hitch pins for the tow bar and a new sewer hose, some water connections and a sun visor for the RV and the GPS.

Yes, that is snow on those mountains. It was an easy drive, but we just weren't too happy with the GPS cord breaking.  Oh well.  We ate at a recommended Mexican restaurant here, but were not impressed.  That about finished this day!
