Up, Up and Away....  Not really, we spent some quality time on the phone with Dish this morning, since many of our channels were not coming in on the satellite.  Next Steve talked to his sister, Irene, then we slowly got ourselves around.
We decided to go to Alibates Flint Quarries National Monument at Fritch, TX.  It was a lovely day, clear, calm and a perfect temperature.  We stopped at the entrance and I took both dogs for a walk so Steve could practice taking pictures with his new camera.  The dogs and I walked up the hill, good exercise for the calves of my legs!  I was thinking that Steve would drive the pickup and pick us up at the top of the hill.  Not so!  I turned around and he was walking up the hill also.  When he arrived, I said, "why didn't you drive the pickup?"  He said, "Do you have the pickup keys?"  "Ummm NO, don't you have them?"  "No, I can't find them."  Me, panicked:  "You have to have them!"  OK, we walked back down to the pickup and looked all around, (it wasn't locked, thank goodness!).  Still did not see them, but I did have the spare set in my purse, still we need to find those keys!  Finally I looked at Steve, really looked and to my utter surprise the middle center, pocket of his overalls had a funny appearance.  Guess what?  The keys were in his overalls pocket!  Yea, they were not lost!
Next we drove to the park building, but it was locked up, no way to see the inside.  So we just drove around and then moved on to Fritch and stopped at Dairy Queen for ice cream.  Then we drove to Lake Meredith.  It was almost impossible to find a path to the water.  The lake is severely down!  Finally we found a boat dock that was totally on a dry lakebed.  So we took a few pictures and headed back to Amarillo.  On our way to town we saw an antelope.
Then we went by and saw Steve's sister Irene and had a good visit.  Later we returned to the RV, and completed our evening with a little TV.
