Sunday, April 19, 2015 Moving on West

Well we got off to another pretty good start today.  We are headed to Holbrook, AZ where we will sit awhile and wait for some mail and meds for Steve.

I captured this great shot out of the window of the RV.  Blue skies, Red rocks and a train!  Could be a country western song.  By the way, we have been jammin out to tunes while riding along in the RV.  This Rest stop was just inside the Arizona Border, Lupton, AZ.  Oh the temperature is wonderful also!

We stopped at this lovely rest stop and had our lunch, walked the dogs and got our land legs back.

And as the above sign says:  On Your Way.  Off we went to our destination in Holbrook, AZ.  We are staying at OK RV Park - a Good Sam Park.  We got here and set up, kind of a problem, since the site numbers are weird.  We hooked up our utilities and then Steve thought we were in 12 instead of the assigned 11.  So we moved the RV up about 10 feet to another sign that had 11 on it.  Went to all that trouble and the lady came out and said - I thought you would want by the patio.  The whole long site is ours and we were in 11 at first.  OK, so we backed up and hooked up the utilities again.  Well one side of the sign shows 11 and the other side of the sign says 12, no wonder we were confused.  Of course we are easily confused anyway.  Well we finished and had supper and showers and went to bed.
