The start to the morning was a stop at Amarillo Off Road to get a hitch pin for the towing apparatus.  One of ours got lost, not sure how.  Maybe it is only misplaced, but we had to have it to go down the road.  That accomplished, next on the agenda was just driving around.  We saw Ronald McDonald on a horse here in Amarillo.  Steve took some pictures of where he went to school and where he used to live.  He wanted to eat at Der Weinerschnitzel, so we did. I didn't like my hamburger or anything else--so the dogs got a little treat.
We returned to the RV and Steve took some pictures of the two Llamas, an Emu, and a Burro. The wind came up and we watched Doppler Dave cover tornadoes and hail storms.  We thought we were AOK and we were for awhile.  I fixed us some supper and cleaned that up and then we watched TV.
By the time the news came on, another thunderstorm rolled in.  This one was right on top of us.  It hailed like crazy and we were concerned.  We put in our slides and covered our ears.  The sound of hail on the RV was deafening!  Hope we never hear it again.
It did pass and we went to bed after our showers.
