Then we decided to work on the awning to ensure that it rolls up tight for travel. We went into the Brig and borrowed the ladder. Steve got up to look at the top of the awning and some wasps tried to get him, but he was quick and got away.
We added wasp spray to the list!
Next we loaded up the dogs and went to Hayden for items on the list and to rent a carpet shampoo machine. We got back about 12:30 PM and had a sandwich at home. We shampooed the carpet as best as we could. Mainly we wanted to freshen it up for the drive and make sure the water that overflowed the other night got removed.
Soon we checked and it was 2:20, so we got our laundry together and loaded. We needed to get to Ralph's at Bayview before 3:00 in order to buy extra quarters for laundry. Steve sprayed the wasps before we left, so they could die and the awning would be ready to re-check.
We started laundry at 3:00. When it is done we will return to the RV and take a walk/hike and work on additional preparations for travel- check the tires, check the fluids and fuss with the awning. We may pull out Wednesday if all goes well. If not, then it will be Thursday.
