Saturday and Sunday, June 6 & 7, 2015

Saturday -
We mulled around what to do today, and finally decided we better get some laundry done.  We also had need of wifi - and the laundry has good wifi.
We saw this really cool car at the laundromat and had a good hamburger there also (Ralph's Coffee Shop & Laundry).

On our excursion around the park later in the evening we saw several deer right near the Brig Museum.  We drove over to the north road and saw a porcupine on our way there -- no picture - he skedaddled very quickly.  We saw even more deer and Steve tried to take some pictures with the good camera.  Additionallywe saw a hummingbird hanging around the Brig.

Sunday -
Just a do nothing day.  I guess some days we just have to take it easy.  We did go down by the Lake later in the day and watched the boats after hiking to a bench.
We hiked a little further and found the fireplace and foundation ruins of the Anti-Aircraft firing range that was in use during WW II.

On our way back to the pickup a deer was in the hiking trail, right in front of us!  He quickly went about his business.  We really enjoy walking the trails around here, love the smells and flowers and sights and animals we see.

Another day in the park.
