What has been going on?

Thursday--
We have the same morning routine most days.  Whine about getting up.  Get Dressed.  Walk the dogs.    But walking the dogs is awesome in these surroundings.  The wind, if it blows, does it very gently and we watch the tops of the trees sway gently!  The sun makes the pine needles sparkle. And the smells of pine and flowers is lovely.  Then we get back to the RV and have some breakfast.
Today Steve worked on the awning, to get it unrolled.  Then we took it easy.
In the afternoon we took a drive on a the forest road. We were hunting for Lakeview--did not find it.  But the drive was really nice!  Saw lots of sights.

In the evening we took a walk in the park, down by the viewpoint (where we could see the lake).  Then we drove across the divided highway and walked around Hill camp.   A very nice day.

Friday--
Just another day!  Today was shopping at Walmart day...this was improved by getting a Frosty at Wendy's!

This evening we sat out and visited with Martina (our co-museum host) and her fella Jim. They had a fire going and so we enjoyed the visit!

Saturday--
After the routine morning chores. Steve rinsed his pickup off and watered our new gravel, to help keep the dust down.  We were quite brave today and undertook the Highline Trail to Buttonhook Bay.  This was a great accomplishment for us.  The trail was very steep and went downhill seriously!  And what goes down, must come back up.  We had to be very careful, because there were roots, rocks, and a few stumps in the trail.  I told Steve I did not want to break a hip doing this!
We took about 2 hours to climb down and back up!  It took a lot of rest breaks!  No kidding!
