Well it seems we have settled into a routine I guess.

Wednesday June 24, 2015

Today we tripped down to Wal-Mart at Hayden and got groceries.  Before we got to the highway, we saw a deer and her little fawn.

 There was a Pot-Luck for the volunteers here at the park. We attended and took a cheese tray and crackers and some little smokies.  

We did some walking and took it easy.

Thursday, June 25, 2015

Today we got around slowly and finally decided to do laundry.  That is just a short jaunt to Bayview.  We took a walk and putzed around.

Friday, June 26, 2015

Today our camphost neighbor left to return back to the real world.  We started a five day stint in the Brig.

Tonight was a beautiful sunset.  I took several pictures.

The new Brig hosts arrived and we met them.  They had a lot of comments about how things were different in the Brig than when they were here last year.

Saturday, June 27, 2015 - Worked in the Brig.

We had a fairly busy day today in the Brig Museum - about 100 people visited.  

It was pretty hot today--95 or 96 degrees.  We went to Athol after supper and got ice cream.  On our way back we saw another momma deer and her fawn!  Cute!

Sunday, June 28, 2015 - Worked in the Brig

Well today was a little slow in the Brig.  We have a radio in there and heard about a comotion at the boat deck.  It seemed they were calling the Sheriff to come out and intervene!  Glad we weren't there!

Another extremely hot day, unprecedented for this time of year in this area, 101 degrees!

There is a high pressure system sitting on top of the area and it looks to be hot for awhile.

Hope this changes soon.  It cuts back on our walking when the weather is so hot.
