We did the usual morning routine including walking the dogs. We unhooked the utilities and got rolling down the highway. Today we drove through Dallas (on 235-E and the route around) - the traffic was not too bad and part of the road was better. The road was still rough in North Dallas. WE decided to stop at Winstar Casino - WE walked an extremely long way from the parking lot to the Casino in sweltering heat. We waited an extremely long time in line for a player's card - then we discovered we did not have much cash. So we tried the ATM (2 different ones). Each of us tried our cards twice and neither one of them worked. So we got ice cream at their Dairy Queen and left.
We got back on the road and headed north. I was watching the weather and found out South Central Oklahoma was going to have bad storms so,-- we kept diving and Steve felt like coming on home. We arrived home about 6:30 PM. We finished our evening with supper at La Macarena and then chilled out.
