Update - Remainder of May and the Start of June, 2017

Sunday was a day of rest. We took it easy today and only drove to the grocery store here in town for a few things to make supper. Monday - May 29, 2017- We got up early and mowed the yard front and back. First we picked up all the fallen limbs though. I did the front and Steve did the back. After that we watched a movie, Zero Dark Thirty. I think we watched it previously, but forgot some of it. It is about the Navy seal team that killed Bin Laden. About 3 PM we went to Enid and visited Pam & JC and ate steak, beans, chips and veggies for supper. Paige got there about 8 PM and we left shortly thereafter. Pam is 11 days out from her hip surgery and doing great! She is really scooting around with her walker. Then we returned home somewhat pooped. Tuesday, May 30, 2017 - Today we completed our laundry. I got a perm in my hair and Steve put spark plugs in the RV. We went to Stillwater and ate supper with Linda & Hazel at Texas Roadhouse. Then we went grocery and supply shopping at Walmart. Wednesday, May 31, 2017 marked my return to work for a few days. So I worked Wednesday and Thursday. After I drove home from work at Enid on Thursday, we changed clothes and attended Austyn's Dance Recital in Yukon. Steve & I ate a sandwich at City Bites - it was pretty good - but they had to re-make mine twice, because they didn't get it right. After the recital we had ice cream at Braum's. It was late when we got home. Friday, June 2 - I got up late and we paid our bills, then went to Stillwater for Lunch at Schlotzky's. Then to the primary care VA clinic next door. Steve had an appointment to evaluate some pain he was having in his lower right abdomen. It seems he may have a hernia - the nurse practitioner thought it would be OK to wait until we return from vacation to get the ultrasound. It takes about a month to get it scheduled. Again we returned to Walmart for supplies and we were pooped when we got home. Saturday, June 3, 2017 - First off we got the oil changed in the RV. Next Steve got the parts installed in the power washer and washed the RV. I napped and helped with the RV later. Had to go to the hardware store to get some keys made and also some hose connectors. Sunday, June 4, 2017 - Steve mounted the new dust buster in the RV, I work on my blog and we took it easy. Monday, June 5, 2017 - I worked and then went by and visited Pam before returning home. Tuesday, June 6, 2017 - We accomplished a lot today. We left the house about 7:15 and drove to OKC. Steve had an appointment at the VA. Next we went to Cummins and picked up filters (oil & air) for our Onan Generator. Nancy, my sister has a birthday tomorrow - so we went to the nursing home and visited with her and took her some cards and presents. After that we went to Hibdon's Plus and got two new tires for the pickup, put them on back and put the back tires up front. The front tires that were on it, showed bad wear on the outside (we think from the pickup being towed). Then we returned to Perry to the beauty shop and got some color on my hair - woo hoo! Steve got a haircut also. Then we had supper at La Mac with Linda and Hazel and now I am caught up with the blog!
