August 14, Sunday Westward Ho! Wagons Ho!

This morning we slept until 9:00 AM.  Of course we had gotten up at 2:30 AM and walked the dogs.  Sometimes they do that to us! So we had a small breakfast and walked the dogs again.  I put together the week's pills and we walked over to Walmart because I needed a couple of things.  That didn't take long, then we unhooked our utilities and started driving west again.  

We stopped at Arriba, CO and got gas at a tiny station, but we maneuvered fine there and there was a rest stop at that exit also.  We walked the dogs and ourselves.  Steve checked the wheels and added some more gear oil to the passenger side.

 We cut north at Bennett, CO to miss the main Denver traffic and turned west again at Prospect Valley.

  We checked the wheels again and then drove west to I-25 and were on it about 1-2 miles then got off and stopped at St.Vrain State Park.  We have a spot for the night with full hook-ups for $30.00.  Nice concrete pad with a view of the mountains out the front window and the door.

On Monday - we will start calling to see who can fix the RV. Oh Boy!
