August 19, 2016 Friday - Travel day to Big Timber, Montana

We left Buffalo, WY- we had considered staying another day - but we would have had to move to a different site, so we just hooked up the pickup and disconnected the utilities and were on our way.

We headed north on I-90 (I-25 and I 90 merge together here) and Steve did a great job driving.  We stopped just west of Billings, MT at Laurel to stock up food and supplies at Walmart.  Then we drove further west.  

We could not decide how far to go but finally decided to stop at the KOA at Big Timber/Greycliffe.  They charged us $49.00 per night and that was with a Senior Discount - because  I asked about a better price.  Anyway - we paid that because we were pooped!  Oh and at that price - they did not even have cable.  Normally we wouldn't care - but we did not bring the satellite dish on this trip.  We watched a movie and crashed out!
