In the mean time - the water in the RV had that bad smell and so we decided we would need to bleach out the tanks. But first we called John Elway Chevrolet in Englewood CO and they said we could bring it in on Tuesday - shop opens at 0700. OK - that is a plan. Then we tried to locate a campsite closer to Englewood - no luck or no answer. Why can't people answer their phone? It is so frustrating.
OK Next we go to Walmart and walk all over the store in a very disorganized manner, picking up the bleach, some air filters, and some food. Finally we got out of there and went back to the RV and had lunch. I was not feeling well - too long between meals, I think. We walked the dogs and finally gave up and took a nap.
When we woke up we started the process of sanitizing the water tank and lines. Not sure why we had to do this again, as we did it last spring. Maybe it was all the hot weather and being unused. We had several discussions on the proper procedure and how to accomplish it and whether it would help.
Finally, we got it accomplished.
Then we hooked up the pickup, checked the lights and brought in the big slide. We dumped the black and gray tanks. We got everything ready to pull out, would only need to unplug the electric and bring in the bedroom slide and lift the jacks.
Again, we were exhausted. We went to bed - I set the alarm for 0500. Of course I couldn't get to sleep until midnight. Oh Well, It was one of those horrible Monday's. Not something we usually have when RVing. This too shall pass!
