August 16, 2016 Tuesday Repairs on the RV

So this morning we got up at 0500, WOW very early when on vacation.  We had our breakfast, and finished unhooking the electricity. Then we headed out on I-25 at 0550.  Plenty of traffic.  We kept heading south on I-25 and then the traffic got even more congested.  Steve did an excellent job driving in the traffic.

When we got to the Chevy place, we unhooked the pickup and walked up to the office.  They took our information and said they would get started. 

So then we went to Chatfield State Park and hung out.  We walked the dogs down by the lake. 

They went crazy when bike riders came by.  

We got our chairs out and relaxed under a Huge old cottonwood tree. 

 Next we had lunch on the pickup tailgate. Then we sat in the pickup and took at nap.  

About 1:45 PM, the Chevy place called, but we missed the call because we were asleep.  So we decided to drive back and see if they were finished.  Yea, they were finished!

We paid them and hooked up our pickup and headed north.  Right back through that Denver traffic.  

We stopped for the night about 4;30 or 5:00 PM at the Wellington, CO KOA.  It is pricy - but so was the repair. 

Back on the road tomorrow!  Zippity Do Dah!
